I wish to firstly thank the team at Pacific Pontoon & Pier for making this wonderful walk bridge that myself, family & friends are so excited about. I had recently contacted various trade people to see if this could happen, only to find that they did commerical sized bridges or would be too difficult & quoted accordingly, knowing I wouldn’t go ahead. However, from the day Greg Toovey from PPP sales arrived & we spoke about the access problem I was having with the acreage and what the upstream damage was causing the property by washing away the timber footbridge, Greg assured me that the team would be more than happy to help my situation. Well, we have the best walk bridge than any acreage property i’m sure would have with no stress or worries about the bridge washing away again. To the team that made it possible, the boys on the job. I’m delighted to report that the jetty met and exceeded our hopes for it. Tenders were able to berth and be disembarking passengers within 90 seconds of arrival (around one fifth of the time it took at the old shared berth), and the two dedicated cruise tender berths worked simultaneously without a hitch all day. There was virtually no queuing to return to the ship.

Just a quick note to let you know the PP&P jetty at Fort Lytton held up exceptionally well with the recent heavy weather and flooding of the Brisbane River. The river came up to the floor height of the fixed gangway. No damage to any component has been found and the pontoon and walkway handled the river flow and swell well.

I know that it is a long time since early January when you sent the engineers around to install the Roller System at our holiday home in Hope Island however, due to the lousy weather, we only got around to using the new system last weekend. Well it worked like a dream with no dramas at all on either the launch or recovery. So many thanks for a job well done – very much appreciated.
